Frigidaire 5 Burner Gas Range

Looks great and install was easy. Only complaint is the oven is quite loud - loud whirring fan sound. They were on heavy sale from Home Depot so I figured it may have a quirky issue. For the price I paid, I™€™m willing to tolerate the noise but would expect a quiet product for the regular retail price.

Needed to replace a gas range that croaked. The tech that came to look at it told me to stay away from that brand recommended purchasing a Frigidaire or Whirlpool. After researching and looking at them in the store, the Frigidaire was, hands down, the best choice, and I am SO happy with it! It looks great and cooks and bakes perfectly and I would highly recommend it. I am not about bells and whistles so this fits my needs perfectly.

We HATE the oven on this range. Poor design!!

While the stove top is fine, we absolutely HATE the oven on this range to the point that we dread using it and we both love cooking. The oven fan whistles and howls when the oven is heated and continues to howl for 30 minutes after you turn it off until the oven cools down. Its like a train running throu8gh the room.We live in an open concept house and the loud, obnoxious sound fills the entire living area.We had a repairman from Frigidaire who looked at it since it is new and under warranty and he blamed the design of the oven saying that it couldn't be fixed and we would just have to live with the sound. Its really unpleasant when you are sitting at the dinner table and the loud annoying noise is disturbing what should be relaxing dinner conversation. It is so bad that we've actually stopped using the oven.

Gas range = awesomeGas oven = awesomeFan = horrible, loud, and runs very longBroiler = electric and uselessI had a service tech come out and check my broiler because it would beep saying it was preheated but was only reaching around 250. The manual that comes with this lists the information for older models. There is no way to change the broiler function on this oven. It is electric and, per the manufacturer, will take around 45 min to reach full temperature. For "energy saving" purposes, the wattage had been cut in half for the induction, and as a result, the broiling temp took longer to reach than the bake temp. The beep means it's safe to put your food in the oven, not that it's actually preheated. Because this is by design, there is no fixing or improving it. So we're stuck with it. I don't know how people are raving about the broil function.

Loud fanWhen you use the oven the fan is unbelievably loud and runs for 10 or more minutes after you turn off the oven. It is terrible. I will soon bite the bullet and get ride of this junk very soon. Even though it is brand new. You can hear the fan all over the house.

Frigidaire is my go to when I™€™m looking for appliances. Has been for years. Recently my daughter™€™s stove went out. She™€™s been struggling to make ends meet lately (like most of us have). I told her I™€™d help but rather than repairing it I suggested looking for a new one. The prices were crazy and I was about to start looking for a used one then I saw this one at Home Depot. It was nearly half the price of most. And to me the fact it was a Frigidaire was a plus. It was a no brainer. I bought it and she™€™s so happy with it. Installation was simple. It has great features and looks fantastic in her kitchen.

great natural gas stove top, even baking, slow broil

Great performance for a mid-performance stove. The gas stove flame is all blue, even and easy to use and clean. The control panel is minimal compare to other stoves offered by Frigidaire, but give good options for every day cooking. Oven works well except the broiler take quite long to get heated up and doesn't braise as well as my last oven with a gas broiler.
