We ended up choosing this 1.8 cubic foot over-the-range microwave from Frigidaire mostly because it didn't need clearance for its door on the left side. In our kitchen, there's a wall on the left side and we discovered that the original microwave we chose from another brand wouldn't open. We wanted a sleek design with no handle, and this model was in our price range. It fits well in the space and the door opens. It heats food and is much quieter than the old microwave it replaces. I think it looks nice, and fits the design we wanted. There are a few things I don't love. I don't love the multi press system and don't find it intuitive or easy to use. Our previous GE microwave had a good reheat sensor function, but the one on the Frigidaire is more complicated and honestly overheats food most of the time. We have to stop it early to get the results we want. Similarly, it overheats beverages, so I just tend to use the 1-minute function instead.I like that the interior is metal and easy to clean, but the outside can seemingly be only cleaned with water and dish soap, which is kind of annoying. The glass seems like it scratches easily and the control panel appears to have a plastic cover, which I wonder how long will stay looking good.Overall, I like it and it works, but I don't love it.

Microwave is okay. We've always bought Frigidaire appliances. We did not pick this microwave since we bought a new house and it was already installed. We've already had to replace the bulb on the under side by the filters after only 2 months. Was disappointed to find that to replace it is an LED board. On the Frigidaire website it cost $30.58 for a replacement compared to a $10 to $15 bulb. It's a hassle to replace. Would definitley prefer a bulb than a board. Disappointed that Frigidaire has gone to the board. Microwave does not have a beverarge button either to warm up coffee. Would definitely look into other models or manufacturers when it comes time to replace.

This and the range that came with it are garbage. This microwave has had light use with only 1 adult and no kids in the house, but the plastic handle is breaking up. The range that came with it was less than 6 mos old when sparks came out of the dial. Frigidaire sent someone to fix it, not replace this fire hazard in my home. That was a $1000 mistake I will never make again!

Microwaves vary, some are great, some not so much but this microwave is unique because a 10+ second button is cool. I™™m the person that watches my food in the microwave and will add 30 seconds constantly but 10 seconds is revolutionary. I like to be precise like that. I also like the use of the quick defrost, they keep it simple and easy to enter the weight.
