First freezer bought in April of 2022, seems to work ok but ice seems to melt a little then refreeze and stick together. 15 months later, three months after warranty expired it quit cooling. $500 plus and it™™s up and running again but 18 months later and again it quits cooling. Frigidaire certified tech runs pressure test and says unit cannot be repaired because there is a leak in an internal line and it can™™t be reached. I purchased the matching refrigerator and the two units bolt together and go in a cabinet that was built specifically for the unit so I™™m stuck buying another one. Second unit seems far superior to the first one so far. Seems to be much colder than first unit. Not having ice melting problem but after dumping two runs of ice the ice still gives glasses of water a funny taste like plastic or chemicals or something. If it doesn™™t stop soon I guess I™™ll have to have it worked on.

What is pictured isn't what was delivered. Disappointed... The handles are shown on this website aren't what will be delivered. (((Not all stainless steel as pictured))). I ordered a matching fridge an freezer set. One had an all stainless steel handle, but the other had chrome brackets and a stainless steel center. The handles arent the same height either which is very noticeable when placed side-by-side. I was sent 3 new handles all matching the wrong handle. Company asked for 2 weeks to do a inventory check. Months later, I was told the handle pictured isn't available anymore. I was going to add a picture... but this website option to upload a pictures said the picture from my phone was too big. Disapointed... this brand has lost my business.

Waited 16 months for the freezer and fridge during Covid for new construction second home. Units were installed spring 2021 (Ordered them Dec '19). Spring of 2024 there was water under the freezer buckled hardwood floors, after further inspection determined the water is leaking "in the wall" of the freezer and not repairable. This is a KNOWN issue by Frigidaire, and when I called them they told me to call a plumber. This is not a plumbing issue, it's a design flaw. MANY others mention the same issue and Frigidaire refuses to acknowledge. I have used these units in 4 homes, but will not ever again.Fast forward to November 2024, The matching refrigerator developed a leak where the pipe from the water inlet valve to the water dispenser just cracked and was leaking everywhere each time someone got water from the fridge, it dumped a gallon of water through my basement ceiling. These units are junk, and can cause damage to your home. Spend the $ and by Thermador, they actually have customer service that cares and goes above and beyond. Now I have this garbage in my kitchen that my custom cabinets were built around.

We've been using this freezer for about a month now and we love it. It is FREEZING cold inside. It makes great ice and is always full when we go to get more. The bottom drawer was broken when we got it but it took no time at all for Frigidaire to send us a brand new one! We've been very happy with this freezer so far! It's also deceiving on how much space it has. It looks like it doesn't have that much space because it is not very deep, but there is plenty of space. We've had no issues with running out of room for our freezer items. 10/10 would recommend.

I have the Model FPRU19F8WF Refrigerator with the Model FPRU19F8WF Freezer delivered Feb.17, 2022. These products although looking good are very substandard in performance and quality. The model FPFU19F8WF freezer quit within 15 days of install because of a manufacturing defect. Was out of service for 45 days for repair and parts. Caused $100's in lost food in unit and down time without a freezer. After repair, Unit functioned but developed an internal water leak hidden behind unit causing thousands of dollars damage to wood flooring. Was determined to be a manufacturing defect and unrepairable. After another 60 days of unit being inop and dealing with Electrolux for replacement, a replacement unit was shipped under the extended warranty I had purchased. Frigidaire/Electrolux can't even get that right. New unit arrives with parts missing and the door handles are a miss match to the mated FPFRU19F8W Refrigerator. New replacement Freezer in service for 45 days, 1-15-2025 to 2-25-2025, 45 days. Unit has a large crack and chunk out of interior freezer box. Electrolux response, it's out of warranty at 30 days. One other item you will have with this product and it relates to the materials. The material used in the freezer box and the refrigerator box is very brittle. You will have issues with the areas where the drawer slides and shelving attach. From use, the screws break away the box material they attach to causing drawers and shelving to not operate normal. Over all, the units look very good but are of lesser quality for the price you are paying. Don't look for Frigidaire to stand behind the product unless it is strictly written in coverage. Don't waste your money on extended warranties. You are better off if you plan on purchasing this product to plan on tossing it and replacing with a better product when it fails. Electrolux Factory service personal are helpful and good. The contract and repair personal Electrolux uses are an issue! Water and Air filters are proprietary to Frigidaire are expensive and cost well above other models available. Your maintenance costs are higher to own Frigidaire.

DO NOT BUY THIS MODEL FREEZER. I see now why frigidaire offered us a rebate on replacing our current unit, with these reviews on the manufacturing flaw with the water to the ice maker nobody would buy now. Ours was purchased in the spring of 2022, we got two seasons of use out of the ice maker before it stopped working and water started leaking out of the front left corner of the freezer unit. I say two seasons as the home is seasonal. So the last time it worked was October of 2023. Upon returning in the Spring of 2024, ice maker no longer worked and water was leaking. Water was shut off, as was ice maker as there was family health problems and no time to deal with the ice maker/water situation upon returning. Our daughter dealt with the issue in November of 2024 by calling the appliance company we purchased it from to see if they could come out and look at it, They came out 3 times , tried different parts and then talked to a tech directly at frigidaire who informed them that not fixable, and that the part that is causing the problem is built right into the mold of the unit. It sure does seem like frigidaire was well aware of this issue but has made no attempt to make things right or correct the way the unit is made. All they can say is its past the two year warranty . And honestly we were right on the bubble of the two year warranty when it went bad but family circumstances did not allow us to address the issue with our appliance company until this past November. An almost $4,000 purchase in 2022 and all they can say is its out of warranty and not fixable. So now we have a freezer and matching fridge that has no water on the fridge side and no ice on the freezer side, that cost that kind of money is only 3 years old. So after a file number was created by the appliance company, and details sent as to what was tried with photos,and three calls on our part to frigidaire customer service , they were willing to give a rebate on a new purchase of this same flawed product! That email and rebate was supposed to arrive within 48 hours, I have yet to see it in my emails. Very professional, not.

We purchased this unit less than 4 years ago and it already has a refrigerant leak. Unfortunately, the cost to repair the unit (1200-1500) is close to the replacement cost. Electrolux/Frigidaire raised the prices of these units around 2020 has done nothing to improve the quality. They are disposable $6k units. After talking to customer service they were able to give me access to the ™friends and family™ discount site. The replacement cost was just over $1900 with the discount. Not happy.

Model #FPFU19F8W2. After reading many reviews, I am also having issues with water leaking between the insulation (foam) and the metal outer plate. The leak does not fall into the drip pan below and has spread over out kitchen floor on three ocassions after drying, testing, drying and testing again. I contacted Customer Service as directed and was "brushed off' both times and simply given a local repair service with an offer from Frigidaire of some $550 for a flat rate repair--with no guarantee to solve the problem other than a potential refund if the problem wasn't solved. Based on the reviews I see here, the problem is not repairable NOR does Fridgidaire acknowledge there is a consistent promblem or address the flaw (which is obviously a quality issue or some kind of built-in obsolesence. I sell laboratrory-grade freezers and there is always a fix or identified problem from the manufacturer and a way to resolve the failures. At some $4000+ for a replacement, this is not a viable path to customer satisfaction for Electrolux/Fridigidaire. So, I am requestine a replacement or an answer of how to repair and prevent a recurring issue. What say you, Fridigidaire?

I feel old when saying this, but this Frigidaire side by side is sick! Everyone's first words are "omg that fridge is huge!" I'm obsessed. Totally updates the look of my kitchen. Only reason I gave a 4 start is because after only a few days, it started making a horror grinding sound. Luckily, I was able to fix it myself. It was the trim piece along the bottom hitting the door. But did take several adjustments before it would finally stop coming back.
