Great refrigerator for the price

We™™ve had this fridge for a week. Upon delivery, I mentioned how much we paid for it, and the delivery person was surprised and said ™oh wow, it looks like it costs more than that™, and I agree. The outside has a modern aesthetic, including hidden handles (on the front and top of the doors) which fits my small kitchen well. The counter depth feature is well designed, and the inside is pretty spacious, too. The fridge is pretty quiet, and the stainless steel is easy to clean. Overall, we are very happy with this fridge, especially for the affordable price point. We wanted one with no water or ice features, leaving our options extremely limited, and I think we made the right choice, going with this particular model. The features that I think could be better- The door compartments (not removable bins) are relatively small, and I wish there were more of them. There™™s no butter compartment. The fridge has only two veggie drawers (of a nice size), whereas many fridges these days have a third drawer for meats/ cheeses/ smaller produce, and I do miss that. I also wish the produce drawers had a moisture control vent as well- one is solid and the other has fixed vents on the bottom (odd placement IMO) of the drawer. The drawers are made of a seemingly durable material. There™™s only one light in the fridge, and one in the freezer, so it gets a bit dim toward the bottom shelves and drawers, especially if a shelf above is full, blocking the light. Although you can adjust the height of some of the shelves, by an inch or so, it™™s not very customizable- I really wish there were more notches to adjust shelf heights, to really use all the available space advantageously. The door alarm comes on too soon, so it™™s yelling at you when you™™re just trying to work in the fridge- obnoxious. However, I can see how the alarm is useful, as the doors don™™t easily close on their own (which is nice). The freezer has only one drawer, and a number of open shelves, so I™™m looking for the right size bins to add onto the shelves, to help hold and organize items on each shelf better. It™™s easy to accidentally hit the control panel on the front of the fridge, especially if you™™re tall, so just something to keep in mind- if you hear a beep when grabbing the door, check the panel settings. And lastly, when we first received the fridge, the sides got extremely hot, at times, for about 24-36 hours. Like, alarmingly hot, as if you™™re standing next to a space heater. Turns out that it was just working hard to reach its proper cooling modes, and now that we™™re past that, the fridge sides no longer do that, but will get mildly warm, intermittently, like all fridges do. Still, it was a bit shocking, but I have read that this process is normal. If I could do half stars, I™™d give this a solid 4.5, but for the price, I don™™t think it can be beat!
