This oven is trash! We™€™ve had less than 4 years and the cooling fan/blower assembly, which is responsible for ventilating the control and electronics area has completely failed. So bad in fact that the service man said he is surprised it has not fried our ENTIRE home electrical system and/or caught fire. I have contacted whirlpool 4 times via email and was on hold for 3 hours on the phone with them. Guess what? No fix no response, and obviously don™€™t care about their customers. Now if this did in fact catch my home on fire, would you care then? The cost is $650 to fix but why fix an already crappy range?

I've had this range for less than a year - I don't cook for a large family, just the two of us. This range SUCKS. It is very slow to heat and already has broken components, such as the cheap, plastic trim around the panel, and the slide tabs at the back of the storage drawer - which Whirlpool DOES NOT offer replacements for. By the way, check out how much it would cost to replace the knobs that will inevitably break. This country used to make appliances that lasted for decades. Now it's chinese garbage, made elsewhere, assembled who knows where, and there's zero pride in what we do. Whirlpool used to stand for something.

Rather dissapointing

Rather disappointed in how easily the top scratched. Was careful with my pan usage and not my first ceramic top stove. My order of plastic pans hasn't arrived yet.Warming drawer has razor sharp edges on the rolled edge that has the indent as a handle. l won't purchase another appliance with the knobs or display positioned near vertical. Anything that splatters out of a pan coats the knobs and display. Typical of ceramic top stoves the heating is slow and then you have to keep backing off. Knobs seem rather wobbly.

We "Downgraded" Models but Upgraded Our Experience

We previously owned the Whirlpool WEE745H0FS, and while it served us well, we decided to go with the WEE515S0LS for our upgrade and we couldn't be happier. It™€™s a testament to the fact that sometimes "more features" aren't as important as "smarter design." The Major Improvements Over My Old Model: Better Airflow & Venting: My old 745 model had a different console setup. On this new 515, having the knobs strictly on the front creates a much cleaner "open-air" feel at the back. It vents the heat from the oven and cooktop so much more effectively, keeping the kitchen cooler and the air moving. Superior Knob Quality: This was a huge surprise! The knobs on this newer model feel much stronger and more substantial than the ones on my 745. They have a premium weight to them that gives me more confidence when cooking. No More "Timer Confusion": The updated audio tones are a game-changer. On the old model, I'd sometimes scramble to the kitchen not knowing if the food was done or if the oven was just ready to bake. This range was installed on 10/8/25. The oven door will not stay open. The utility drawer will not close properly. A technician from Lowes came on Friday and said that the springs are missing from the door. The drawer will not close because the frame is bent. Lowes they will not help because it is over the 48 hours period. I spoke to a Whirlpool representative on Monday and he arranged for a local Whirlpool technician to come on Wednesday 10/15/25. As of 2 pm today I have yet to receive a call from this business.

Glass stovetop is a disappointment

We previously had a 25 year old Magic Chef range with a glass top. After all those years, the glass stop still looked excellent. Unfortunately, after our first use of this Whirlpool, the glass top has become scuffed. From what I have read online, this is normal. With enough effort and special cleaners after every use, the top will look better but will never look good again. What a disappointment. I would not recommend this product to others.

This is my first electric range and I was honestly worried but I love it! I like the options for smaller heating and full heating (depending on size of pan/pot). I really like having the knobs and controls on the front as I'm really short and would probably burn myself if I had to reach over. I have been using this range for about 5 weeks. The burners heat up rapidly and the front burners have 2 selectable sizes. The smaller size is the same size as the size of the two back burners. For the broil cycle, you have to close the oven door, which is different from the other ranges I have had. There is a signal to let you know when the desired temperature has been reached, but it is not My a few complaints are that you have to go on-line to get the user guide, the mark on 2 of the knobs did not align with the marks on the stove (this was fixed by one of the store™€™s technicians), and it is a challenge to clean the stove top without leaving smears. I wanted a basic stove without all the bells and whistles and that is what this is.

Great Basic Range

I purchased this range about a month ago to replace a 33 year old range that actually still worked. I wanted a basic range since I didn't think I would use all the bells and whistles that came with the upgraded ones. The two features I wish it had are the covered bottom element and a cooktop with a matte finish around the burners so fingerprints don't show up so easily. I like the dual size burners in the front and It heats water a lot faster than my old one but I don't have much experience with baking yet to verify the temperature. There is a gasket around the stovetop that collects crumbs and spills that can be a challenge to clean. I have found that a toothbrush works well to clean this. If you want a basic range, this one meets the requirement. Since my previous range had a glass cooktop, I had experience with keeping the top clean.

It is too shallow, the stainless steel shows every fingerprint and there are very sharp edges inside the drawer if you're not careful opening it. Would I buy this model again?Probably not.
