This microwave is a bit scary when you can bake pie shells perfectly without using the oven that heats up the house and then you can reheat a cold cup of coffee in 30secs! The selection of functions should be rethought as we have yet to use more than 5 functions. Awesome microwave

The convection mode is very handy and convenient. The door is nice and light (but if I'm not careful, it swings back and wacks me in the head). Overall, we like the microwave better than the others we've had.

Quiet, dependable, tons of cooking features and sleek design! Easy to install. The lighting underneath is bright, it has high and low light. It has senor cook, which is great for kids! They don't have to worry about time and power levels. My favorite feature is the vent fan. If the temperature gets to hot around the appliance, the fan will automatically turn on at the lowest setting to cool the appliance. Then it will automatically turn off when the internal parts are cool. This microwave is top grade and an excellent choice. Easy to operate fo all ages. Plus it comes with a shelf to add to the interior if you want to heat up more than one dish at a time!

I love my Bosch microwave and convection oven. I use my microwave daily and it reheats food perfectly. I chose this model specifically for the convection function as it act like a small 2nd oven - which is perfect for side dishes and baking items that dont require heating an entire large oven. I was apprehensive on spending this much money, but we've had Bosch appliances before, and knew it would be worth the money. This thing far exceeds the expectations we had. It's sleek, quiet, and does an amazing job of reheating food without it becoming rubbery. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to anyone.

Convection and microwave modes cook to perfection. Beverage time by amount of liquid is impressive. The interior and exterior so shiny. All of my husband's fingerprints come right off with a damp paper towel. Of course I never leave any!

Have had this Microwave/convection for only 2 weeks but love it. Our 14 year old Kitchen Aid just dropped dead and we went out next day and puchased the Bosch. We have had Bosch dishwashers for over 25 years in several homes and won't buy any other make. We will be replacing all of our appliances with Bosch as they go out to pasture.

It looks nice. Wish the use of rack for dividing and rack for convection were more clear. As written it seems one can't use the convection oven without the round rack. Not sure if rectangle rack can be used with convection setting. What I hate most is the very loud grinding sound the motor for fan makes. Literally can't use the fan as it gives me tinnitus. Definitely not worth the high price.

The microwave was less than two years old when the vent grill broke. Got it replaced with my home warranty not Bosch since the appliance warrantly only lasts one year. Within 3 days, broke again. Very disappointed. Will not buy Bosch again.

Overall, I do like this microwave. The convection is another story. The purpose of convection is to cook more evenly and quickly. While it may cook faster, the rear corner areas are significantly hotter (burn items) as compared to the rest. And worse, the entire top stainless section above the door has broken and fallen off after 13 months (beyond 12 month warranty). I live alone and the only one to use this appliance, so I know I have never slammed the door. Upon review, the small (fragile) plastic tabs that secure the top to the frame have failed.

1) The mica wave cover in the microwave was cracked when received. Subsequent cleaning caused it to break completely requiring replacement at my expense. Something more durable and and explanation of its purpose would have helped.
2) An illuminated control panel. It would be nice to be able to use without turning on additional lights. Note: the microwave light does not illuminate the control panel.

The Microwave does heat quickly and looks more or less well finished. In terms of fit and finish it is no better than microwaves costing 1/3 as much. The control panel is cryptic, unreadable in a dimly lit room unless you have a spotlight directed at it. The several sensor cooking options are accessible only by studying a table in the manual or by referring to a glue on chart that sticks to the surface inside the door. It is unreadable without lighting from some external source. This is primative and disappointing in a unit at this price point. I would NOT buy this product again, and recommend that no one does.

Very stylish front panel and I love the stainless interior. Easy to use and easy to clean. Only thing is the numbers are hard to see. They should be backlit maybe. This replaced our 7 year old (non bosch) microwave as it blew up while preparing dishes for Thanksgiving. All in all I really like this one and would recommend. We have a Bosch washer and dryer set that has been good to us for 15plus years. Hopefully we get the same quality and performance from this microwave.

The color temperature of the LED boards used to light the counter looks like 4000-5000K, which clashes with all of my home lighting which is 2700K. This makes my kitchen look horrible at night. And there is apparently no replacement LED board with a 2700K color temperature. Total disappointment, and there is no easy fix. I regret my purchase for this reason alone.

My microwave is just over a year old and the vent grill grid (top of microwave) came flying off hitting me when I went to open the microwave door. It appears another person has the same issue with this part coming off and it happened to them twice. Appears to be a quality issue. The solution from their technician would be costly to repair and it's not covered under warranty. I could order online and pay for the replacement part as well as install it myself but it's currently unavailable online. This is an expensive microwave and should not have an issue line this at 1 year 2 months. Very disappointed in the quality and the resolution from Bosch.

This is the 1st Bosch microwave I have owned and could not be more happy. After getting the dischwasher 800 series installed we selected the next item and that was otr microwave. I did the install my self and this was the beginning of a perfect experience. Install was straight forward made easier by the templates given. The microwava has surpassed our expectations mostly due to the shelf and the ability to heat 2 plates equally and in no-time at all. This is a solid microwave and due to the weight it does require an other person if you install it the way I did otr. Bosch simply make outstanding appliances and maybe you pay a bit more than other ones but worth every penny. The quality this is one would expect to pay a bit more. Thank you again and keep the good things coming. Very happy Bosch microwave owner.
