I replaced an old electric cooktop with this induction cooktop and could not be more pleased. Unlike electric, the induction cooktop responds immediately to temperature adjustments and heats up almost instantly when using the speed boost feature. Great choice!

It took a few minutes to understand how to turn in it but now it is a dream stove. Easy to control. Heats and then goes to no heat pretty quickly when told to do so. Connects to wi-fi make it easy to control when you are out of the room.

Attractive and functional

It took me a long time to acquire this cooktop since it was necessary to rewire the space for it. Plus, I had to buy a Bosch oven in order for it to fit in my existing space. Then both appliances were on back order for several months. Now that it is here I have enjoyed using induction for the first time. I had to buy some new cookware, but many of the pieces I had do work. The speed of induction is great, and the controls are nice once you get used to what they do, but this is true of all electronics. One design feature that I don't like is the placement of the largest heating space. It is on the back right when the front right would be far superior, not only because it is closer to the cook but also because having the two biggest heating areas next to each other makes it difficult to fit pans. I don't understand why the two smallest spaces are in front. Cleaning the cooktop is easy, and I like the keep warm control.

The induction part works very well, much better than a standard electric cooktop, but the controls are complex, not at all intuitive, and it leads to accidentally changing the temp on the wrong burner frequently.

We did our homework and the Bosch induction cooktop came up as #1 over and over again but even so we were wowed once we installed it and started using it. Fast, even heating, no concerns about fumes (we switched from gas) and so easy to clean. Pancakes made in our frying pans look like they cam off a griddle - the heat transfer is that even. Totally delighted.

Versatile cooktop

This is a great cooktop. I've had it for 6 weeks and so far it has worked flawlessly. The controls are great. I wish the largest coil was also at the bottom of the cooktop but that's a relatively minor complaint. I used to have a Meile cooktop before and this works very similarly though I prefer the controls on the Bosch. Spills are easy to clean. I setup the WiFi but haven't used it yet. It appears to mostly be to control a Bosch venting hood and for remote problem diagnosis by customer support if anything does go wrong. Overall, it works great and worth the price.

We remodeled our kitchen and switched from gas range to induction cooktop. Overall, its a really good quality cooktop. However, It takes time to get used to the touch control. I like the knobs on the stove, so cooktop's control panel is not my favorite part. In order the increase/ decteaae the temperature, first yoy have to press the botton that pertains to certain spot and next you have to change the temparature. Cleaning if the stove ia really easy which is a big plus for me. Please keep in mind that it makes noise depending when you use high temperature.

Loving the new Bosch induction cooktop! I am an induction first timer and I don't think I would go back to gas. The control you have over your food with this cooktop is awesome! The flexibility the cooktop gives, and the speedboost option is great. I am boiling water in less than 30 seconds!

Bosch was purchased, even though it was more expensive than Maytag, Empava or Kitchen Aid because it was percieved that Bosch would be superior in useability and service. The experience has been quite disappointing. The cooktop turns itself off unexpectedly then beeps when an attempt is made to turn itself back on. The controls have been studied via the Use and Care Manual for hours but make little sense. The Manual has two pages on how to operate the cooktop via WIFI and half a page on how to cook with the unit. (Under what circumstances would one want to operate a cooktop remotely or via WIFI?) The only thing about the cooktop that is harder than cooking with it is getting customer service. A call was made to there customer service line and hold time was forty-five minutes. The person who answered the phone has no knowledged of the appliance and no means of connecting to some who had infomation. It looks like the only solution is to send the unit back to Bosch and buy another brand.

When the cooktop works, it's decent. A bit cramped, but does what it's supposed to. However, it has quality issues. I keep getting error codes and some of the heaters stop working and Bosch service is HORRIBLE. Have to wait for over a month for service. Now what I would expect for either quality of customer care

I've had my induction range too for about a month, I'm still learning how to use it. It heats quickly and I like that there are no raised controls, I'm still figuring out what the corresponding temperatures are for each number. A couple times the panel numbers started flashing and I had to pull out the manual to figure out what was going on. So far I'm liking it.
