Ive heard many say that appliances dont last as long anymore etc. But this LG microwave has provide service day in and day out for a long time now. A few months ago I did have a question for customer service and they responded within 30 minutes with help. This is a great company with an emphasis on customer service. Truly impressive

I have had this microwave less than a year and every time I cook over 5 min the power goes out and it takes 1 to 2 hrs before it cools down enough to use again and lg is milking me until the warranty expires

Bought the model LMV2031SS microwave as part of a set microwave dishwasher double stove and fridge. At 1 year and 1 month the first microwave had a terminal error and wasnt worth repairing. Purchased the same one as it was out of warranty by a month because we needed it to match the rest of the set with the unique handles with hopes that it was a one-off flaw. Now 1 year later the second one came up with a F3 error. I looked into the problem and it states it is a wiring short and could suddenly start a fire if not unplugged immediately. So if you have this model get rid of it...it is horrible. If you dont but are looking at it... move on and find a different one.

I have had this microwave for a couple months now and I cant believe how much faster it heats up my food/drinks than my last one Smooth front is easy to keep clean and easy to use controls.

We purchased this microwave a few weeks ago and my husband easily installed it. We love the reminder settings listed on the inside of the microwave. It works great and is very nice looking although the stainless steel does not match my gas range dishwasher or refrigerator which are all white and sadly not LG products.

We bought this as apart of the LG suite. And what a good choice it was. The only negative with this microwave is the fact that there are no lights under the buttons. It you dont turn on the kitchen lights you cannot see what is selected. Other than that its a great microwave.

We like the overall performance of this appliance. The surprising thing for us is the selection panel push buttons. They require force Wonder why? We have found a sweet spot in the button area that receives a lighter touch to activate. I am also not sure why it is not 1500 watts instead of 1000.
But overall good performer

I bought this a month ago. I wasnt expecting the LG delivery guys to install it and haul away the old microwave. This saved me money from the big box stores or having to pay to have it installed. Overall it works great. I only have two complaints. There is no light inside of the microwave when you open the door. It works only while cooking. The second complaint is the window view into the microwave is small and high up. It makes it difficult to view and monitor whats cooking.

We like everything about this microwave except that the rack is too low. We have to take it out for most items and put on the counter. I wish that had included a way to put the rack higher.

It looks nice and is very functional. It also has a good fan on it which is helpful above the stove. I wish it had a convention oven feature like our previous one. The door doesnt have the same quality thud when you close it as our previous one did but not a big deal. We got this to match our other LG appliances and it looks great.

I have had this microwave for about three weeks. The metal vent fan next to the light underneath the microwave on the right the one located under the door constantly falls out when I close the microwave door. Also on the inside of the door the black film goes up almost half way blocking the view of items in the microwave. I am 55 and am unable to view items in the microwave. The beeping sound when food is done is better than other microwaves I have had in the past. Overall it is a good looking microwave wave.

I had an issue with a previous LG microwave that was purchased last year. It was a lower end model and it no longer heated. LG was able to refund me when that microwave couldnt be fixed due to parts. I purchased another LG microwave based on the customer service. This model is much quieter and works as described.

If you are 6 feet tall it is a good microwave. If you are short it is a source of constant frustration. You cannot see in the door because the lower half is darkened. You have to stand back several feet to see messages below the clock. Also the interior light is too dark. Would not have bought if I had realized the problems.

We just need to get used to the new microwave. Our last one you just had to touch 1-5 and it would automatically go 1-5 minutes. This one you have to press 1-0-0 then cook to run it for a minute. I know first world problems. The overhead light seems to get hot. We leave it on low all night because we have a baby that wakes at night occasionally and we use it as a nightlight. So hopefully that doesnt cause a problem. But other than that its nice.

We had this item installed about 3 weeks ago. We really like the look and operation. You can manually turn the turntable off and on and has a rack for extra heating room. Has a couple of light levels for the cooking surface below and a multi speed exhaust fan that is not overly loud. We purchased this in a LG kitchen bundle at a retailer and are very happy with all the units. Refrigerator stove dishwasher and this microwave.

Its replacing an older microwave and the upgrade is obvious with this one its a lot better. It cooks well is attractive and well made easy to use. I especially like the custom cook setting we use ours for the perfect time for coffee or tea. Its nice that the alarm buzzer doesnt keep beeping like our annoying older one but only beeps once.
The vent fan is very strong especially the turbo setting. Its much stronger than the average weaker microwave vent fan. The difference is immediately noticeable it moves heat out very fast.
Its not that easy to install. The video makes it look easy but getting it at the angle to put it on the wall hanger was tough to do. You do need two people who are strong.
I wish the light in the microwave was not bug light orange but a more soothing modern bright white neutral white no warmth both the light in the microwave and the light under it are that icky warm white. The under microwave light is not as bright as I had hoped for.
Overall its great. Just difficult to install.

Bought this without doing enough research. For some reason I thought that LG made high quality products. If you go on various consumer web sites you will find that this is far from the truth. These microwaves die at an unusually high rate. The LG support is horrendous. Luckily it was still under warranty. LG sent a repairman that clearly has been drinking all day. I had to help him remove the microwave because he couldnt do it himself. Who has ever heard of that?? Finally I had to tell him to get out of the house before he ended up killing himself. Horrible experience all the way around. Stay away from LG as far as possible.
