The 3rd-party service provider quoted so much money for a service call diagnosis replacing parts that we could buy a new LG stove. We used a local vendor that Is certified to install repair gas appliances. The total cost was less than a service call plus one hour of labor with LGs authorized 3rd-party service provider..

Get the extended warranty 8/6/2024

Weve used this range for a little over two years and my wife really loves it that is the only reason I gave it four stars. We only used the air fryer one time because it smoked and we havent tried it again to determine if it was something we did or didnt do. I purchased the extended warranty good thing. After the manufacturer warranty was up we had an intermittent problem with the oven not maintaining temperature. Since I live in a rural area LG couldnt find a service company. Fortunately Home Depot sent parts to me planning for someone to come to make the repair. Since they also couldnt find a service company they refunded the cost of the range Thank you I made the repair with the parts HD sent and so far so good. The reason we love this stove is that it now works great. The griddle comes in handy the dough proof works great turning the oven light on with a door tap is neat and now the oven bakes great so far. I would have given this range two stars for my aggravation but since my wife does most of the cooking...

Not a good time for a review as it stopped holding the set oven temperature when it decides to act up a few months ago. Of course they are only warrantied for a year unless you paid more for additional coverage. So now I wait for my repair man who ordered 2 different parts because an LG tech told him it could be one of the 2. So I have to replace both to make sure the problem is fixed. Not the right way to do things.

i bought this range a little over a year ago. it is now out of warranty. the good- 1- love the cooktop grating. strong easily slide pots and pans to different burners etc. 2- oven cooking temp seems to very accurate and calibrated correctly. the bad- 1- the liquid digital display numbers are going out so its hard to read the time temp timer etc. 2- the airfry feature produces a TON of smoke. even after cleaning the oven making sure nothing else is in it etc. it will make you open the doors and windows in your home to get all the smoke out. we have stopped using this feature.

Covid/supply chain purchase

Not LGs fault we had to buy a stove we didnt want but it was during covid the suplly chain crisis--it was the only one available in this isolated town. Stove is poorly insulated compared to previous stoves. Heats up the whole house. The grate parts are so far apart that small pans fall though or fall sideways. Same with the oven racks. The light comes on if you touch the stove but doesnt stay on when its wanted. The numbers on control panel are impossible to see it makes absolutely no sense not to have the actual temperature showing on the panel instead of the mysterious box with an H in it. The stove is just under 2 years old the igniter went out it took more than 3 weeks to get the part to fix it. Why? The fellow that did the repair was prompt and professional. Would not buy another LG stove.

I like the top grating design. But: The liquid digital numbers for the time oven setting timeretc. are already starting to blank out. Cant tell what the number is because of missing digits. Also tried to air fry with it and tons of smoke comes out. Tried cleaning it removed everything still smokes like crazy. Dont use that feature any more. the range is a little over a year old. i love the grate system on top you can slide pots and pans around they are heavy duty etc. also the temperature setting of the oven seems to be very accurate. however the liquid digital display numbers for the clock and oven setting are already going out. its hard to read the time timer or oven settings due to missing parts of the numbers. also when we use the airfry setting there is a ton of smoke that comes out of it. like open the doors and windows and set up fans to get rid of the smoke. i cleaned the oven made sure nothing else was in it etc. no use it continues to smoke. so we just dont use the airfry setting since it is already out of warranty after only 1 year.

Oven stopped heating after 7 months

I originally bought this stove a few years ago along with a matching refrigerator and dishwasher. After a year we ended up moving leaving them all behind. We liked them so much we decided to buy the same stove dishwasher and refrigerator plus the matching microwave for our new house. Unfortunately this one hasnt been as great. We purchased in September 2022 and installed March 2023 due to a kitchen remodel. In October 2023 the oven stopped heating. The burners and broiler ignite but the oven wont. Its very disappointing that it stopped working after only 7 months. I contacted customer service and they had me try a few things but ultimately they told me I would need to hire a local repair person. And since it has been over a year since I purchased it it is no longer covered under my warranty. Such a disappointment

Also- it gave me an f9 code which is the igniter and now it doesnt work at all- the oven part. I had called numerous times with no luck to have someone fix it. Weve had this range several months and it excels at quickly bringing water to a boil and it bakes evenly and even has an air fryer. However when we followed LGs manual to clean the burner heads the finish came off of all of them. Not a good look. After some back and forth with LG Support I received a new set of burners although I havent washed them yet. Fingers crossed.

So far it seems to work as it should.. the burner seem a bit excessive in the flame department. However the grates have scratched the stove surface and it is almost impossible to clean without streaking. The stove top always looks greasy with streaking.

Great features for the price

It was time to buy a new oven and we came across this LG model. We were intrigued by the air fryer feature insta-view and ThinkQ and are happy with our LG refrigerator so we looked at it a little closer than some of the others on our list. In the end we felt this oven offered more bang for the buck so we made the purchase. We are so happy that we did and have told friends and family about it. The only complaint we have is that the supplied griddle doesnt cook evenly. We cooked pancakes on it and found cold spots at front and back ends of it. However we are still happy to give 5 stars overall.

Hard to clean

I try to use hot soapy water on spills.....yea right Love the performance but harder than heck to clean to a shine. Ive tried everything......nothing works. If you scrub even with a cloth it scratches. I will let this one go with the house sell and rethink other easier to clean options. The photo shows scratches from scrubbing with a wash rag and the dawn soapy residue above. It takes forever to clean this stove to the beautiful shine when I bought it. My whole kitchen is LG with this finish. Never again.

Beautiful Stove

My old oven broke and instead of repairing we upgraded to this LG stove and I am in love. So many great features like Convection Steam Clean AirFry etc. Very happy with my purchase.

Unlit control panel

I like the stove but my only complaint the control panel on the back of the stove is not lit its very hard to see where the controlstar unless you have the microwave light on

Concerns quality

I purchased my stove in 2022 March. Since then I have had issues with the burner grates. The finish is already wearing off. I called service support to be told that it was not covered under warranty. Service made a reference that the finish was coming off due to my cookware.No where in the manual does it state anything about cookware. Needless to say I am not happy

Nice range but not without problems

I bought this stove a couple weeks ago and really like it. The problem is the racks in the oven were so tight especially rack 4 that you couldnt pull it out with hot food on it. Stuck. Scraping enamel off inside.
