I purchased product 3 weeks ago and although I really like the product I do have some recommendations. You should be able to change the temperature while the oven is on. The first time I used it was Christmas Eve. I was trying to bake rolls and couldnt get it to the right temp. I didnt realize until the next day that you have to turn it off and then back on again I think the Very large burner should be on the left. The griddle in the middle can only be used alone as pots dont fit when the griddle is in place. I am still experimenting as I have only had 3 weeks.

Upper micro/convect bake combo oven is horrible

Dario our LG repair man did a a thorough job troubleshooting our microwave/convection bake oven combination. He swapped out the sensor and motherboard because it appeared they were not communicating properly. For some reason when the engineers designed it they decided that the convection bake oven temperature should fluctuate approximately 30. We set the oven temp to 350 and using an oven thermometer we bought at Amazon and his more sensitive professional thermometer discovered that it took over 25 minutes for the oven temperature to reach 330 even though the temperature on the oven itself reported it was at 350 approximately 5 minutes after turning on the oven. But more importantly once the oven reached 330 it then started lowering the temperature by over 20 and then proceeded to fluctuate between the two temperatures. Once the door was opened the oven lost approximately 75. This is totally unacceptable and as far as we are concerned it is considered a major design flaw. The engineers need to go back to the drawing board and then get us either a software or firmware update. Dario thought that the engineers mightve been trying to do the auto adjust for us since it is a convection bake oven. There is nowhere for us to cancel this possible auto adjust feature for the upper oven. We would need to guess what temperature to set it. But still the fact that it fluctuates up and down makes it impossible to bake a cake. It is also not possible to use it to roast vegetables. So as far as we are concerned we do not have a double oven. And the fact that it actually takes 25 minutes to heat up when the lower oven only takes about 7 means that LG should not be able to give this oven an energy star rating. We think the engineers really dropped the ball on this. And it begs the question did anybody actually test this oven? I would give it 0 stars if I could.

Low quality controls and components hard to clean

Loathe having to use this product. No backlight in the controls even my $100 microwave has a backlight and the buttons are horribly over-designed touch screen sensors. You cant press them you have to leave your finger on them until the selection registers. Takes ages to enter a cook time. Blue interior is a nightmare to clean the instructions recommend against basically all cleaning products and the finish was damaged by a soft plastic sponge scrubber. The fan in the microwave rattles during use and after while its cooling which takes ages. Completely unacceptable for a $2500 product. Never again LG.

Great oven. Full featured. Almost perfect.

The oven/microwave is great. It was surprisingly easy to clean the oven using baking soda. Kudos for LGs automated support for suggesting that. The control panel could be improved though -- the buttons require too much force and changing the oven temperature requires hitting the proper cook button first instead of just hitting the numbers. And given the height of the oven and depth of the microwave a microwave door that swings out instead of opening down like an oven would be preferred.

Upper oven meets expectations

Have had a little over a month. Have been pleased with combo microwave/convection upper oven. Have been unable to use lower oven as since install has had heating error. Had LG tech out and was told parts needed to be replaced. To date still waiting on parts and have never been able to use lower oven.

I bought this 11/23 for a x-mas gift but ended up not receiving unit until after the new year now just 8 months later after receiving now oven fan is making noise. As of 8/27/24 a technician is scheduled to come out and fix it today but hasnt arrived yet.

Nice microwave/convection combo. Would like the microwave to have QuickStart options like holding down 2 gives you two minutes instead of punching in 2:00. We like the gentle attractive sounding notifications. It seems strange that after microwaving the oven goes into a cool down mode unless you stop it before the set time is finished. When using the convection over at 425 degrees to cook a Papa Murphys pizza it takes a lot longer to bake than a normal oven would but the crust does turn out crunchy and yummy.

Poor ControL Panel design and functionality

This ModelWCEP6423F Wall Oven Purchased from Home Depot Feb. 26 2024 has a serious design flaw. The Control Panel does not light up and is virtually impossible to read the buttons on the Oven Functions panel and the Key Pad Numbers panel plus all other control buttons. The only illuminated section of the Control Panel is the center screen Display. It is impossible to use the Control Panel features without having full room lights on. Additionally the Control Panel button Font and Font color make it impossible to easily read the options. Please offer me a resolution to this problem.

Beware Do not use oven cleaner

I ruined the beautiful blue finish in my oven by using oven cleaner. I had no idea an oven is made that you cant use oven cleaner on. There are hundreds of people on line who did the exact same thing. These ovens need stickers on the box and oven letting you know this. None of us thought we needed to read instructions to clean an appliance weve been cleaning for decades. Depending on how much cleaner you used you can make the oven unsafe to use. This oven was beautiful and now its not. All of my appliances are LG but no more.

Where is it?

Says was out for delivery Jan 1st but still not here. Calls to customer service have been unproductive. System continues to say I will be contacted in 3-5 days to set up delivery. 1 actual human put me on hold and then phone eent back to beginning. 2nd human had poor connection and not understandable. 3rd sent me back to start menu again mid sentence. No one responds to emails to customer service address.

We purchased the LG oven to match our refrigerator. We like the no fingerprints feature. The oven and microwave work great as expected. We were disappointed with the control buttons because they dont light up. Hard to see in low light. Probably will get use to this with more use. We gave a high rating for overall performance features and looks.

Great unit but needs better buttons

Both the microwave and oven work great. A huge upgrade from our old appliances. The microwave inside is huge and both have great features for the price. My only issue is the buttons. The font is way too thin and too close in color to the background and the background is way too shiny. My wife and I have decent eyes back can hardly read the numbers. Thicker font and whiter color is really needed if your not going to back light the buttons at this price point
